Back in the 70's 80's and early 90's I trapped in Iowa. Dirt hole sets for fox and coyotes. I trapped small streams for coons. I also caught a lot of muskrats mink and beaver.

J you need to cut some boards like Iowa trapper to separate the bed of your ranger. That way you can help with scent cross contamination.

SOOOO many people, put lure and bait on with a stick, and then they throw the stick AWAY from the set! Definitely keep the lure stick at the set! (I prefer dropper bottles)

Run a your auger right down next to the cable and pot it out. Best way I've found to do it.

They say trappers catch food 100x more than hunters. Having furs you can dry and make clothing and blankets or sell just adds to the whole thing. I just would like to know what you'd need to trap if you were naked and afraid
