I remember one episode of M*A*S*H, where Trapper wanted to adopt a Korean boy if his folks wouldn't have been found. Charlie is not the boy I know but he could be. This brings back memories.

why didnt they come right out and name charlie “vc?”. 🥶 😂😂 For real tho, on the one hand these hollywood products will gesture “compassion and inclusion”, but it will be followed up with something subtle (or overt) which totally neutralizes original message. For fun, I speculate about that being intentional ever.. sometimes… never? 🤔🧐 Thank you for the work required to post these timeless works of art channel🙏🏻🍻

I've always wondered why didn't they put Wayne Rogers in the title role of Trapper John M. D. I feel as though that would've continued the story line after he left M. A. S. H. Just a thought 🤔

Yes he was done with the whole MASH thing tired of playing second banana to Kawkeye so Wayne Rodgers would have not been any good in the role. I don't know if the producers of Trapper John even asked Wayne to take the part.

Wayne Rogers was great in 'City of Angels'. Google it. Wonderful, film noir-type detective show. Gone too soon. The tv show. He was not in the movie, and the storylines are waaaaay different. Also, this show is based on the M*A*S*H movie, not the tv show. Elliott Gould's Trapper John fits the timeline for Trapper John MD. Wayne Rogers' Trapper does not. Plus, he was done with it.
