This episode points out a problem that is still around today. People expect doctors to have instant answers and when they don't or people can't get an absolute guarantee of a cure, they turn to so called alternative medicine and books or whatever that promises a cure. This episode points this out and the downside of this practice. Love it.

Modern Western medicine is used as much to sustain misery as it is claimed to alleviate it. Why do all of these prescription medications from Big Pharma have side effects that are possibly even more alarming than the conditions that they are allegedly intended to treat?

It's like hospital stays didn't cost much and they had lots of vacancities as they would allow a person not getting hospital care to occupy a room. OB had his arm in a sling and he pulled it out of the sling to wheel himself away from the painting and yet he's still kept for another day too. ROFL, Just things I notice as an adult and didn't notice as a kid.
