i love how fast that splitter is. I have a standard splitter (22ton) and can split anything i can put in it, but it's a slow go. Great show as always guys!!

I'm like a little kid trying to break a new toy. I find the gnarliest wood, knots, limbs and twisted grain I can and no matter where I find them I bring them home to that splitter. I keep believing I have found the one that will beat it…… LOL, I’m still looking!

Great video. Can we expect a fur handling video.
@TrappingIncTV6 жыл бұрын
Yes,,,, but not very much on the TV show. Fur handling takes time, I'm not a speed ball and I really want to do my best by the fur. We are soon launching a video journal that will be much more indepth and more year round.

trapper Bob never puts lure right on the box because of bears
@TrappingIncTV5 жыл бұрын
That is a consideration. The rotted beaver bait in the box, freezing and thawing a few times leaves a lot of smell in the box, far more than the lure every could.
@2GringosOnTheGulf5 жыл бұрын
@@TrappingIncTV frozen beaver meat will leave little smell behind after a while I'd think..I do know he has boxes in the bush for years n years.

@@TrappingIncTV oh ya the beaver bait dont thaw here in northern Saskatchewan n he stops trapping long before it gets warm

Check your traps sooner my friend.
@TrappingIncTV6 жыл бұрын
The distances make that impossible. We check every 4 days. It is the best balance between too much non productive time just riding around and having damaged fur. We lose very little to damage a year and do everything we can to make it even less.
