This episode is one of my favorites! I live and trap in northern Alaska. My line is above the Arctic Circle and has a nice population of marten. It was especially rewarding to see trapper Robert Grandjambe following in the snowshoe tracks of his ancestors. I was very happy to see a young man from the Cree nation trapping and enjoying it. He is very well spoken and a testimony to his trapping knowledge in the NWT. Our interior Alaskan native people, the Athabascans, are also suffering the problem of very few young men following the trapping way. Another excellent video. Very informative and great to see what other trappers are doing. Marten very scarce here on the rock, other sets have to be set so as not to take out a marten. Good going guys.

I get mine at Peavy Mart and the call it "wire cloth" It is steel with a green vinyl coating.
