Great video. I met Robert at the Trapper's Convention in North Bay. He's an excellent spokesperson for the trapping community and enjoys sharing his knowledge.

This episode is one of my favorites! I live and trap in northern Alaska. My line is above the Arctic Circle and has a nice population of marten. It was especially rewarding to see trapper Robert Grandjambe following in the snowshoe tracks of his ancestors. I was very happy to see a young man from the Cree nation trapping and enjoying it. He is very well spoken and a testimony to his trapping knowledge in the NWT. Our interior Alaskan native people, the Athabascans, are also suffering the problem of very few young men following the trapping way. Thank you Rich for a terrific episode and a special thanks to Robert for sharing his life on a very productive marten line. God bless you both and keep you safe. Dave, in Alaska

Really enjoyed this episode with Robert- he is a very good trapper who’s knowledge extends to being an able wildlife manager- great to listen to his thoughts and experiences about the land and his role in it as a trapper

Another excellent video. Very informative and great to see what other trappers are doing. Marten very scarce here on the rock, other sets have to be set so as not to take out a marten. Good going guys.

Hey Rich, I am looking for that chicken wire that you use for your marten boxes. Do you have any suggestions on where i can order some?
@TrappingIncTV6 жыл бұрын
I get mine at Peavy Mart and the call it "wire cloth" It is steel with a green vinyl coating.
