Man i miss the muskrat trapping, im in Kentucky people stopped growing corn next to the rivers and the rat population is gone, great video..

That Styrofoam is putting the traps up above water where they can freeze. I run mine without foam. And the traps don't freeze if there is open water.

not in this case, it is the freezing rain over night that iced the traps. I tried without the foam but the float would tip over when a rat tried to climb up.
