Trapping MONSTER Aquarium Fish in ABANDONED POND!

In today's video, I revisit the ABANDONED POND to catch out more rare aquarium fish and SAVE THEM before the pond is filled in! This time we placed traps and netted in a different pond FILLED with fish! We ended up netting a bunch of colorful cichlids and caught albino oscars, African cichlids, green terrors, albino pacu, AND MORE in our diy fish traps which we brought back to my backyard pond to keep as my new pets! Should we do a part 3 at the abandoned pond?

That green fish is soooo amazing! All the fish you caught are beautiful. What a great spot. I think you should go back with as many traps as the 3 of you have together and try to get what's left. Do a combined BFP, Rob's Aquatics, and Katchen with Kaden video.

Rob is genuinely a great camera man - you can tell it's him behind the camera. His movements are so smooth while following the action compared to pretty much everyone else that has been apart of filming. Get this man in film school, he could be the next James Cameron in a tiny submarine.

That fish you caught multiple of example one at 16:10, is a Rock Kribensis, a Lake Victoria cichlid which are endangered in the wild because of the Nile Perch. Haplochromis sauvagei

We definitely need more videos at those ponds! That Green Terror is so pretty! So many cool fish! I think for that 3rd pond you should do multiple fish traps of different sizes so you can catch the big guys and the little ones/babies!

You definitely need to keep going back there again and catch you some more awesome fish for your ponds. Next take your two big homemade fish traps with you . Put them in the water while your throwing the net out to catch fish .

That 'venestratus' is actually close to what its called. It's a venustus hap, a pretty expensive african cichlid when its a full grown show male. Great catches, and best of luck to the rest of your 'missions' !

A little life form depending on me sounds great. But fish may be hard. I had a bird at one point. She was adorable but I couldn't keep up with the maintenance.

U guys inspire me so much and open my eyes to alternative methods of catching. More ways to catch fish then with my worms and ugly stick.

Use a seining net, it will help y’all get everything out. Make sure you get strong poles that can support you pulling and lead with the bottom of your rod with a slight angle forward it would be so cool to see y’all catch a whole pond with one. I’d recommend a simple 10ft net to start

Great content!!! I suggest you put multiple big and little traps in the giant pond to catch the most variety. Also, how about trying to build a floating trap that you can tie off with a length of rope and let float around the pond. 😉

The bigger pond you'll have to multi trap and I suggest poking small holes in the bottom so h20 can drain out when you drag it on shore. You'll just have to have a cooler or bucket ready.

Mulit-trap the albino Pacu pond. 5 or 6 at least with a range of baits. OK, Finished watching and you need to really focus here, fascinating range of cichlids, massive trapping episode!!!

I think you need to building a massive fish trap and try in both ponds as Kaiden see a huge fish in the first one to or nights fish them with rod and line as you maybe see them better

That albino red belly is CRAZY. Great catch. You should drop every trap you own into that massive pond but mix up the bait in each, put tilapia/shrimp in the pipe trap to try and catch any predatory fish.

@BassFishingProductions Hey Bobby! Those were Awesome and productive catches for the day! All those fish were so colorful, great designs and large sizes too. Make more of those large size traps and put one each end of the ponds. Then cast net in the middle areas, any fish you don't catch or spook hopefully they will go to either end of the pond where you have the traps set. This would maximize your catch at each pond in one trip.
