Thanks Todd, I’ve had some frustrations with the cables , it’s a learning curve for sure like anything else new. My biggest issue is the high deer population so any trail I set on the deer use so I’m constantly resetting them,I’ve also had a chew out from a coyote I believe on a 7x7 cable, very frustrating.

Nice video. It looks like your loop might be a little close to the ground. Might just be my perspective. Minimum of 6" to bottom in PA.

There all above 6 inches except when thx seek knock them down. I have my coyote cables at about 8 to 10 inches up. I switched to the 1 X 19 cables and much prefer them.

Excellent video Paul. Would you believe, we actually set our snares to about ten inches off the ground in open runs like that. Also, we use about a nine or ten inch loop for fox.

I would set 10 inches off coyote bug that would get mast fox too as long as his head is up, 6 to 8 inches for fox 🦊 but our minimum is 6inches here Eddie. Got some more videos coming yet 👍, oh picked up one of the OA trappers muskrat shirt, I like it.

@@huntnfishnuts5880 We have a lit if badgers here Paul. The ten inches will take most fox's travelling the run, and avoid almost all badgers. Yea its a real nice T Shirt👍

@@minktrappingpaddy I address the height and loop size in a later video coming soon Eddie, if you have them low here you will get opossum and coon if it’s warm enough, I don’t see coon activity here when it’s really cold. I have a lot to learn about cables yet.
