One of the things I like about Joel is he acts very full of himself and narcissistic, but it is really just an act. At 3:24 he mentions Gem and Lizzie's names before he even thinks about his own. And that shows that he does actually care about others before himself.

Yeah most good entertainers (a category that I would NOT put all youtubers in) have a good sense of a persona. Humans are too complicated, so in order to be funny, you need to dumb it down. BUT dumbing yourself down is sad so they create a persona they can easily play. My favourite example of this is Jshlatt :D

Joel was just saying not to kill his wife or teammate because they’re the two dark green names and, therefore, the prominent people to target. That being said, Joel occasionally plays up his self-interest, but it is almost always with a sarcastic tone. When he acts in his self-interest, he is often apologetic if it's at the expense of another. The rare times he’s unremorseful, it's often pretty evident that it's a bit and not genuine selfishness. If Joel were genuinely selfish, he wouldn’t have the friends and wife he currently has, nor would he be this successful and loved in a group content creation setting. We know he’s not selfish, but this timestamp is irrelevant to how we know Joel is a kind man.

Joel, you can use wool to block the sculk sensor from picking up sounds. Just surround the sensor from all directions except the one you want, and you shouldn't need to move it.

Joel: Next time you are making a sculk sensor trap, remember the magic of wool. If you put wool in the ceiling, someone on the surface would not be able to set it off. Also, if you shape a “V” around the sensor, you make can make sure the person breaking the dirt is exactly over the trap.

You can use wool around the sculk sensor and above/on the sides of the trap, so it only works when the blocks are broken inside the trap
