He mentions on Hard Knock TV interview that people were saying COADM was trash but it still sold well and this tour did better than ever. So he was extremely conflicted by what he was hearing and people’s actions? To the point he feels like he was performing for huge crowds but felt like he’d ‘lost’ that he was trash and didn’t make it fun to perform. An internal battle as it were. I feel like that’s a theme of winning but losing. Especially when you consider ‘losing’ as a concept like losing his mind? Losing time? Losing what?
