My first thought was ooh how sad to see a model look that bad, but once again Dan you’ve brought it back from a pile to a great looking model. Well done.👍👍

Absolutely brilliant video Dan, I watched every minute of it and was enthralled by it every second, you did a great job on that, from literally a box of bits to see it running on the track at the end was great. I built an O gauge Class 50 about 6-7 years ago now, I fitted sound, lights and a smoke unit in it and it turned out rather nice. I had intended to build a small O gauge end to end but I’ve never got round to it so it sits on a plinth under a display case, it hasn’t run for years so i may dig it out and give it a go and see what it runs like - this video has been a great inspiration to me so thanks for that mate - a great job!! 👏👏👏. Cheers. …………Graham

Dress makers snap fasteners - what a great idea. I'll remember that. Good job on the loco.

That was nothing short of extraordinary. How you are able to hold the tiny brush so steady is beyond me. Very fine job.

A very respectable repair considering the state it was in when you got it. A total respray may have improved things a little but only marginally I think. All in all like I said a long but a commendable first attempt on repairing an O gauge loco.
