Horseman is like if the punisher just killed for personal gain, at which point the punisher is just another villain, the way the punisher handles it is he's not supposed to be looked at as a saviour but a necessary evil in his world view, he has a broken sense of justice because of his past tragedies, he kills so the criminals can't escape justice, he is a broken man that has begun a war against everything he believes is wrong in his world, horseman is just a murderer because he wants their money, awful character motivation unless you're trying to write a villain for the hero to beat

Zack is so frustrating. #1 he rails against culture war bond comics, BRO IS THE ORIGIN OF THAT. Any Comicsgate reader being honest 100% bought Jawbreakers to help our boi win in the face of cancel culture FIRST, and cared about the end product after that. Sure, we HOPE it will also be good, but anybody who expected it to be good hasn't been around the block much. The important thing was to raise our boi up as the hero who spoke truth to power, keep him from being crushed under the men's heeled boots of mainstream comics, and buying his book was how we could do it. #2 Complaining about knowing about the characters through second hand sources. Dude, if I had not watched Zack's videos for 4 years or whatever, and just read his books, I STILL would be lost as to the Jawbreakers powers, the plot and even which character is named what. Except Knifehand. #3 Payback is a great film.

It occurred to me that EJ may think the high watermark of writing "heroes" was Watchmen. His characters remind me of flawed insecure people or immoral individuals whose ends justify means. Like Alan Moore, I don't think he actually likes the idea of heroic characters, maybe they aren't grounded in the type of reality he is trying to convey. That's a generous assessment.

Hibbity Jibbity "its not one or the other". It is though. If you're selling comics the books must be good. If you're selling cars the cars must be good. Sure, you can be a good bidness man and sell shit to people, but if you want to continue and be seen as a quality business in the field you operate you need to have quality products. And as we know with quality products business often follows. If you however have subpar products then you NEED to be a slick bidness man to keep the business afloat. But with comics you do need good stories, characters and art. I dont know why i even have to spell this out.

I've followed Razor for years and citing sources and providing examples has never been a problem for him. He even shows screenshots and receipts.
