Pre 2020 I would detail our family car once a week and our others cars like monthly. A vacuum, quick wipe down to the interior, and wash. My two oldest were in ABA at the time so I didn’t have to watch my kids while cleaning out the Highlander, so it was a quick process. Now that we’ve had this lockdown we are hardly in the car so I only detail once a month but I do miss it 😭 Now I take my time and have learned so much more from your videos and MAD DETAILING 😻 I now have detail brushes, I have a drill brush so I shampoo the carpets now, and of course I have OCD 😅 now it takes me much longer because I’m adding more steps but I really love it and the kids play while I’m doing the cars so we are outside for at least 2-3 hours give or take 😂

I am detailing our Audi every 6 weeks and yes ia am a OCD person ! I like to clean the on the in and outside and that make me feel happy ! The car is from 1999 with 520.000 km on the clock but still looking great, clean and shiny and you would not giving it so much kilometers, but by cleaning it every 6 weeks it looks almost new, and cleaning the seats is my highlight !! I have lots of OCD when it comes to cleaning either my car or even my parents cars. People might say that I take for ever but that is just because I want to do the job properly and make the car or vehicle look like it just came out of the showroom floor. I own a Toyota Hilux and my parents both own a Toyota Prado. I tend to clean the heck out the cars either once a week or every second week depending on how busy I am or what I'm doing. I do a complete detail on my 2017 RLX once a month. And I do waterless washes in between. Loved detailing my car so much I started my own business! 😉 Great vids! Enjoy watching them!

I vacuum and wipe down the interior every other day. The Dyson Handheld is amazing for this. The key to keeping a clean car is to keep up on it. That way you never need to “detail” it.

Great work guys, and to answer your question, I detail my Car every weekend ( Interior ), and every second weekend the outside washing. Depending on type of the year, Wax ( Soft 99 Fusso Coat ) in the Winter period, and for the Summer syntetic Spray ( ADBL Syntetic Spray Wax ). Polishing the Car 2x a Year.

This is the mistake most people make. You need to first start small then over time get more advanced products. The only thing you have to have before you begin is a microfiber towel and a source of water

I do my interior once a week and the exterior once a month. Because I never let the interior get very dirty it only takes me about 20 minutes, but the exterior normally takes me at least 2 hours cause I’m a perfectionist and will go back and check/redo literally everything. 😅

Curious as to why you don’t use a steamer on the greasy areas and the stains that don’t come up in the carpets easily?? I use one in the house for any such stains that appear on carpets or furnishings that don’t come clean with just a stain/cleaning solution and extractor. Works every time especially on carpet. Great job on the truck though.

I detail my vehicles every two weeks. It usually takes about two hours or so for each vehicle. I do my best not to get them too dirty. My son has a detail business, and a quick detail is 4 hours. He doesn’t extract carpets so the longest one has been about 8 hours with me helping.

👋☺👍 been watching you guys, nice vids👍 ...question: if, a vehicle's been sitting for a long time/ 1st time to be washed in years/ covered in molds/ smokers nicotine all over/ trashed or somewhat to that extent.. do you think it's best to pullout the whole Carpet (Pressure wash) to give it a thorough clean so that the Flooring will be able to be Deep cleaned too?.. plus, do you think, the Roof Interior & Seatbelts needs the Steamer & Extraction after?.. ..do you use Steamer/ Ozone machine to remove bacteria, odor and Disinfect/ Sanitize, since it's been in a bad vehicle state (like what i mentioned above)? Its all about maintenance. For me I own 3 vehicles, each one receives a wash and quick detailer to clean up streaks from the drying. Typically if I get a new car to me no matter the year make or model, it always gets one major detail and ceramic coating, this is why maintenance washes becomes easier. Typically my routines run 3 major details a year for weather changes, with maintenance washes in between. I would consider myself neurotic before OCD.
