I used one of those old school metal four prong grabby thingys and it pulled out alot of fur based clogs. Great vacuum all around even after 10 years. Thanks for your video!

Dude, I can't believe you're not wearing a respirator or a mask. These are a classic! Trash picked one of these and scrubbed it all out and cleaned all the filters and it's amazing. My daughter is taking it to her first apartment. Liked it so much, I bought one on craigslist (they don't make these light ones anymore) and cleaned it thoroughly and its my favorite. I kind of feel like vacuuming now...

I trash picked one of those last year and just recently finally fixed it. I believe it will be a keeper. What’s amazing is that mine had both on board attachments, plus I found the black bag with two more attachments and the spare filters.

Interesting. My friend found a dyson ball on the curbside, brought it to me where I found it only needed a cheap fix. Still works years later

@@VacMaster1991 Mine had a problem with the brush roll. It was melted on the Non belt end. I was never the less still able to use it by cannibalizing bearings from another shark. I also cleaned it all out. I’m curious why you run your brush roll underneath the running water as that could get water in the bearings.

@@VacMaster1991 I was not aware that the underside should have one of those rubber squeegees (I think you referred to it as a gasket). But the one on yours (and mine as well) is missing. Those squeegees are supposed to prevent scattering. Thing of it is, mine does not scatter, even though it’s missing the squeegee. Perhaps I’m missing something here. BTW, I’m impressed how anal you are up the Ying Yang with cleaning that thing. You went well beyond how far I went with mine.

I have this model NV22L and the little hose between the cleaning head and the canister has a big crack. It looks like the upper connection is part of the canister assembly. Any ideas on if it can be fixed?

I think you can replace it. Those usually can't be repaired well

I have one of the shark navigator model nv22l the brush head keeps losing electrical contact when using the vacuum so it comes on intermittent any suggestions on a possible fix or would you have a replacement head assembly for it

You can check and see if there is any dirt on the connectors. Also take the head apart and see if wires are loose.

I had one of these. I hate they way they look and they dont swivel. And yes there’s actually supposed to be 3 filters under the canister
