im the guy who looks at the camera and shakes his head in unbelief at 0:13 . That was my first legitimate jazz concert. It absolutely blew my mind. I had never heard music like that ever before. There were points where it sounded like they were inventing new notes. It was incredible. This show is a big reason why i am learning jazz now.

Sax in fusion tunes has lost a lot of expression and intensity ,well compared to early Brecker anyways. Still good and this is about the best there is nowadays 😂
