I assume the "It hits all churches" bit about the Lightning Hammer is because the steeples make them some of the tallest buildings in the area. Or there's a theological element I'm not aware of. In any case, looking forward to more Funny Plane Game, now on land.

I mean it's a recurring theme in flying circus that really advanced technology is "cursed"--see the Pferd, which practical terms is just a really long-range high quality bomber, but in the fiction is given the sort of mythical quality that it deserves as a doomsday weapon
