Just found your channel, thank you for your very thorough review of the watch. Hope to pick it up in 36 when it restocks. Also love that you cover all these different micros, keep it up!

I have the 38mm version of this watch and really enjoy it. I agree about the button for the micro adjust, it’s really hard to push. That and the legibility (I had to expect this, getting the mint green dial - it doesn’t contrast well with the hands) are my only 2 gripes. Overall a great watch.
@Tangylives6 ай бұрын
The same style micro adjust on my San Martin is overly stiff as well. Prefer the on the fly microadjust from the older CWs, a few Zelos with the ones that required a nail to pull out. The best one is the microadjust on my Artelier Wen though, super nice.

Excellent review! I agree that the 34 has a more elegant case with thinner, more attractive lugs and nicer chamfers. My favorite watch is my 36mm OP green dial, which has a far more elegant case than the Traska 36, the most comfortable and robust bracelet and a movement that keeps perfect time. However, there is no denying that the Traska offers a tremendous amount of value for one tenth the price of the Rolex.

Ok, I was hesitating between the 38 and 36 version, cause as a daily I wouldnlt want something too small and elegant. But your wrist shots (my wrist being quite the same as yours) convinced me the 36 is the better option. Great and complete reviews btw !

I’ve had a hard to push micro adjust of this style on a different watch and it got easier to use after a month of intermittent wear. BTW, I have loved what Traska has been doing for some time, however, for me, at this price range, I tend to sacrifice specs for brand and history and go for the likes of Hamilton, Tissot, Seiko, etc.
@theknightswatch6 ай бұрын
Hope that the micro adjust also loosens here! It is interesting to hear that some will look over what’s best on paper to go towards something more proven. Not something I’ve considered but there’s a reason the big boys are around

I’m really surprised by the faults. I’ve heard Traska trumps all its competitors in regard to quality control. I’m so glad you called it out.

I have the same San Martin you show (but in black) to compare the micro adjust mechanism. On my SM it takes a lot of pressure to engage the button, similar to the Traska you reviewed. So I think it might be more of a crap shoot than brand specific. Thanks for the video!
@theknightswatch2 ай бұрын
@@hajjcomb interesting! Good to hear. I’ve talked to traska and their newest generation is better for the micro adjust. I’ve also found that if you flip the watch over and try using your pointer finger instead of your thumb, it’s surprisingly easier to adjust

This is a really nice watch. Are there other Microbrands that even compete with it in this price range with an OP look? I don't see any Seikos like this with these specs unless you're willing to spend almost double. This isn't a cheap watch. But the specs are really good and it looks great.

How is bracelet quality compared to the San Martin you showed in the video? Does it feel like it is better quality or identical?
@theknightswatch3 ай бұрын
It is silkier but I would say the San Martin micro adjust feels better and by better I just mean easier to use, it’s very likely the same system with different tolerances
@LordFreak0302 ай бұрын
How is the finishing and build quality against the san martin which you pulled out?
@theknightswatch2 ай бұрын
@@LordFreak030 I would say pretty similar overall. The commuter is more comfortable for sure. The micros just is slightly better on the San Martin just because it’s easier to use. Traska edges our slightly because of the hardening treatment

I'm debating between the new 38mm adriatic blue and 36mm cypress green. Have you had any experience with the 38mm? I have a 6.5 inch wrist, and I can't decide which size I will like more.
@theknightswatch2 ай бұрын
@@jwags24 ya the 38mm wears well. It’s of course larger and leans “sportier” because of how large it is compared to the 36, but you could wear either. I have the same size wrist and tried on the 38 this past weekend at windup

This watch grow on me and is now my daily driver. The one thing that´s keep bothering me is the text ´TRASKA´ on the dial, it looks just cheap 🤷 It´s a combination of the word Traska and the font they used 🤢 on the other hand I love the ´flower´ on the dial, crown and clasp 👌🏻
