I have the 38mm version of this watch and really enjoy it. I agree about the button for the micro adjust, it’s really hard to push. That and the legibility (I had to expect this, getting the mint green dial - it doesn’t contrast well with the hands) are my only 2 gripes. Overall a great watch.

The same style micro adjust on my San Martin is overly stiff as well. Prefer the on the fly microadjust from the older CWs, a few Zelos with the ones that required a nail to pull out. The best one is the microadjust on my Artelier Wen though, super nice.

Just found your channel, thank you for your very thorough review of the watch. Hope to pick it up in 36 when it restocks. Also love that you cover all these different micros, keep it up!

I’ve been regretting badly not grabbing the meteorite dial version of this. Thanks for the video! You get so many pieces I’m interested in.

The meteorite was really lovely. It’s such a good pattern that lends to watches so well.

I was really tempted by this watch, but after much deliverance I went for a Tissor PRX 35mm in the end. I still like this though, such a beautiful watch.

Ok, I was hesitating between the 38 and 36 version, cause as a daily I wouldnlt want something too small and elegant. But your wrist shots (my wrist being quite the same as yours) convinced me the 36 is the better option. Great and complete reviews btw !

100% 36 is the way to go with wrists like ours. Was so surprised when I tried on the 38 for the first time. It felt really big

Excellent review! I agree that the 34 has a more elegant case with thinner, more attractive lugs and nicer chamfers. My favorite watch is my 36mm OP green dial, which has a far more elegant case than the Traska 36, the most comfortable and robust bracelet and a movement that keeps perfect time. However, there is no denying that the Traska offers a tremendous amount of value for one tenth the price of the Rolex.

I’ve had a hard to push micro adjust of this style on a different watch and it got easier to use after a month of intermittent wear. BTW, I have loved what Traska has been doing for some time, however, for me, at this price range, I tend to sacrifice specs for brand and history and go for the likes of Hamilton, Tissot, Seiko, etc.

Hope that the micro adjust also loosens here! It is interesting to hear that some will look over what’s best on paper to go towards something more proven. Not something I’ve considered but there’s a reason the big boys are around

I’m really surprised by the faults. I’ve heard Traska trumps all its competitors in regard to quality control. I’m so glad you called it out.

Would love to see your take on the new San Martin SN0129 3 hander and how it stacks up against micro brands like Traska.. They just released it and a lot of people say it's their best one yet. The specs and quality for $220 look amazing.

How is bracelet quality compared to the San Martin you showed in the video? Does it feel like it is better quality or identical?
@theknightswatch10 күн бұрын
It is silkier but I would say the San Martin micro adjust feels better and by better I just mean easier to use, it’s very likely the same system with different tolerances

Would you buy this watch before the Lorier Falcon? I can’t decide between the 2 👍
@theknightswatch10 күн бұрын
Personally I would go for this watch. I’ve never personally liked the falcon and like the rest of loriers line more. It also depends on if you want a everyday kind of watch tbh at is modern or one more vintage styles

@@theknightswatch thank you for your reply, it means more than you probably think, your advice is another tick in the box that I was already swaying to, I do want to wear it all day, every day, the extra toughness on the Traska is huge for me, I don’t work in an office, I’m on the shop floor, moving and changing aluminium moulds, the watch will get a beating, it’s Traska all the way, once again, much obliged for the feedback, cheers from Lancashire England 👍👍

I can definitely say that this Traska is made by the same manufacturer as Henry Archer Watches. Same bracelet, case, markers, crown. All with just minor tweaks.

To be fair I think traska came first 😂 but I get you. I’m sure microbrands share parts because only so many factories make them.

This watch grow on me and is now my daily driver. The one thing that´s keep bothering me is the text ´TRASKA´ on the dial, it looks just cheap 🤷 It´s a combination of the word Traska and the font they used 🤢 on the other hand I love the ´flower´ on the dial, crown and clasp 👌🏻

@@marko0marko0marko01 It's worse, lots of problems with the dial "shifting" - being lower and higher in other place, misaligned markers and so on. They will probably figure it out but I wouldn't buy from them for at least a year. I like their designs and anti scratch coating but they have to correct their quality control issues
