In car accidents I always ask the patient if anyone else was in the car. I've had cases where a second person was thrown out of the car and unconscious on the side of the road under some bush, but the driver is too confused to realize he's missing and tell me there was someone else.

Man you're a life savor! I have been watching your videos from both youtube and your paramedic coach site and I gotta say the way you break everything down makes this information so much easier! I am going to be retaking my NREMT in a few days and because of you I feel much more confident and have a much better understanding than I did when I first took the test. Thank you so much keep the videos coming!!

This is the best! I never heard of such a good program before as the paramedic coach does provide. I have to take my EMT certification before April, and I am sure this to be exceptional for my learning. Thanks, Evan, Well appreciated!

Heyy man. I know you want to get a head start on things before you begin but leave it to the instructors in class to teach you. Use these kinds of video help to touch up on things you are weak in. Things to know before would be anatomy of the body, brief medical terms and physiology

Just trying to see if anyone could help me. ABC’s have been preached to us by so many instructors, however, when should I prioritize c-spine, spinal immobilization via long spine board, or airway/breathing? I having issues on my test with this and need help.
@milademascolo99767 ай бұрын
In my class; Cspine is “listed” first. But when I do my test offs I’ll say like “since it’s a MVA (for example) I will consider cspine…” “if they don’t have any neck pain I don’t need to immobilize but I will reconsider cspine if I need to/upon assessment” and things like that. Point is I usually just say that I will consider cspine if need be but I say it right away bc technically it’s first (in my program) like before I even touch the pt. If it’s a trauma skill test where you actually need to do cspine then -are they awake? (Like if scenario is: you are called to MVA …) bc you’re supposed to have partner hold spine / jaw thrust maneuver but if you get a question/tested where it’s like “there is a hazard /can’t get to patient and patient needs cpr and you need to do an emergency extrication “ you’re always supposed to consider cspine but in that case if you can’t help it you do rapid extrication to save patient. I’m not good at explaining this LMAO sorry I just noticed no one commented
