Trauma-Informed Practice

Thank you for this channel. I stumbled upon it looking for help for myself. I’m a Special Education teacher at a boy’s PRTF in Connecticut. I’ve been teaching over 30 years in residential treatment facilities and most of what I’ve learned is by trial and error. I’m pretty sure I have PTSD. No joke. I’m binge watching these and other videos trying to unlock the code. I’m mentally and physically (and emotionally) exhausted. I’m attending a conference in July on trauma informed care in schools. I even saw a university that has a doctorate in education in traumatology. I might apply just so I can help other teachers.
