My oldest cat does the pretend cord chewing too! Once years ago he accidentally stepped on the on/off switch for my CPAP machine on my nightstand looking for stuff to knock off to get my attention and he discovered that Mommy would choke awake pretty quickly that way. So if he got hungry enough he'd go turn my CPAP off... 😂 My youngest learned by watching his "big brother" (not actually related, but they have that kind of relationship) and then he'd do it. I stopped using my cpap a few yrs ago, but my youngest goes above my pillow, lays down, and acts like he's going to go knock stuff over to get me to wake up. It still works! 😂

The whole aging tangent hit way too close to home. I turned 26 two days ago. I'm too young to feel this old! But the thing Click said about time is so true. I remember sitting in class as a child for what seemed like forever, or playing with my toys and not thinking about how much time I had left until I had to go to bed. I remember how much happened at school during a 20 minute break, now it seems like 20 minutes pass every time I blink.
