Good thing you landed at night. It’s more chaotic in Boracay airport and port during the day. I opt for the P900 to avoid the hassle. It includes fees, paperwork, pickup from the airport, boat trip and drop off to the hotel. Make sure to wake up early and enjoy walking at the beach at sunrise with less crowd.

Thanks for the tips!!! We also usually try and plan all our flights for later on during the night/night so avoid the hassle during the busy times and also check in is usually in the afternoon! 🙌

Watching from Calamba, Luzon, Philippines and love Boracay. My filipina wife and I have visited there 3 times and love it. Have a beer and some oysters at the HOBBIT Tavern, thats all Gennalyn and I will say on that advice. Enjoy you two, we been enjoying watching your travels! Stay safe!

Yes also unfortunately when travelling especially taking a Domestic Airplane theres chaos ! If you take Cebu Air Pacific which can have great deals expect to panic because there are times it gets cancelledn or several hours delay for whatever reasons. Mind you this was 9 years ago for me after several experiences with that airline and i'm pretty sure others can say the same....Hopefully it's changed . Sending shout out from Richmond BC!

Yeahh for sure! airlines and flights are super unpredictable these days so that’s why we usually don’t book anything ahead of time after the flight (the ferry for example) just incase the flights get delayed and we miss our ferry! Thanks for watching! 🇵🇭🇨🇦

I almost stayed at the Belmont but decided not to coz it is so far away from White Beach. I would higly suggest to get the Hop On Hop Off card. It’s cheap and it stops at the Belmont. Have an early (6-8am) breakfast at Sunny Side Cafe at Station 1. The best food and view.!! Also, you cannot beat the view at Starbucks 🌴😜Enjoy Boracay. Im excited to head back there in 2 weeks. 😁 If you guys are in Bohol first week of March, i got you both for a place to stay. Safe travels

Belmont was one of our best stays yet in the Philippines!! If you ever get the chance to stay there and experience it you should! It does have a private beach which is beautiful as well!! 🙌 haha we have heard about the beautiful views at the Starbucks and who can turn down coffee with a view ☕️🌴 Yes thank you so much!! We’re going to keep that in mind for when we’re in Bohol! 🤗

Unfortunately, my vacation is only 12 days🤣 We’re planning on a side trip to Siquijor also. its my friend’s first time there.🤣 But yeah, just let me know. Enjoy that coffee on the rooftop🌈🌴

Yes we ended up stayed at the Savoy in Cebu and we weren’t impressed, we loved the Belmont in Boracay so much more! 🙌 Maybe we went on a bad day haha!! 12 days is enough time to be able to enjoy this beautiful country though and i hope you all have the best time🤗🇵🇭 and haha thank you we will 🌴☕️😄

Domestic flights in the Philippines are now easier to book online even a day before you intend to fly. We even booked a ferry from Cebu to Bohol for a day trip online and avoided the queue in the port to buy a ticket.

Yes we booked everything online except for the ferry which didn’t want to pre book incase the flights were cancelled or delayed for any reason! 😄

I paid P1,500 last December 2022, that was a speed boat max of 10 people, including a shuttle waiting for me at the port then to the hotel which was no hassle at all. Actually it was 2 shuttle transfers and the speed boat for P1,500

Yeah there was options for that but we figured we would try it on our own and ended up being super easy and saved P400 🙌

Wow! You guys so smart budget money that you said 900 pesos each per person it seemed doesn’t make sense that’s cool 😎😎🤯🤯😱😱😳😳👏👏 highly recommend that only cheaper ride for motorcycles and Jeep, especially this bus cost 250 pesos if possible far away then 500 pesos or add more charges

It was $72 Canadian per night with buffet breakfast included! 🙌 We booked a couple weeks in advance also which helped a lot with pricing!

There's a private sea plane from palawan to Boracay for only 500 dollars for 4 to 7 people

Trike is a little bit more for Belmont Hotel because it’s by the end of the island and other side of Station zero (0). Have fun and Yes you deserve to be at a nicer hotel. 🫰

It’s amazing!! We did try Coco mama and tbh it was overrated in my option and on the pricer side!! You can find much better coconut ice cream for cheaper elsewhere 🤗 And yes the only reason we could justify spending the 500 is because we were on the very opposite end of the island in the Belmont so it all worked out in the end! 😄 thank you so much!! 🙌🤗

Yes we have been having a really hard time with tricycle and taxis here, they will NEVER run the meter and we find we’re getting up charged a crazy amount by almost every single one we try and take 👎

​​@@taylorsaunderss as a filo I am ashamed that we have this kind of people, I apologize because you experienced them just because you guys are foreigners but even we Filipinos also experience this kind of fraud, I suggest that if your instinct says don't, don't go ahead and talk to another local about how you can get to where you're going without getting scammed because even our government is having a hard time suppressing them due to the lack of evidence or no one reporting to the authorities to stop these types of activities and because of the great inconvenience too that it will cause to the victims. when it comes to the issue of taxis you can use an app to get a ride, it's grab and it has a fixed price and you can get a cheaper fare than a taxi but I hope you still don't change your view of our beautiful country even though it's not perfect. I think 500 pesos to belmont was super overpriced. I’d been there last december, i always choose the tuktuk with other passengers in it, I always paid 20 pesos per ride. Then theres hop in hop off shuttle bus there, theres unlimited ride for 1 day for just 220 pesos, 2 days for 440 and so on. But i super love boracay, make sure to go to the end of station 1 and 3 white beach,its less crowded. And dont forget to go to Puka beach, it is so pretty❤❤❤

We have the app Grab but it doesn’t work on either of our phones so that hasn’t been an option at all in the Philippines, so we’re left with overpriced tricycles and taxis 👎 We know scams come with travel so we are okay with accepting we have gotten scammed but wish it was easier to find more affordable taxis and tricycles with honest drivers!! No need to apologize it doesn’t change our views on The Philippines at all!! 🤗🇵🇭❤️
