Travel Day, ✈️ Orlando to Las Vegas February 2023 - Vegas on a Budget

Join us on our Orlando Florida to Las Vegas Travel Day Vlog. We’re travelling to MCO from LAS flying economy with American Airlines. Because of the expense of the home renovations, we are planning to do this trip on a budget including the return flights with American Airlines for only $22. We start very early at 3am to catch the first of two flights from MCO to LAX. The second flight takes us from LAX to Harry Reid international airport. Being the Bazza's the first Las Vegas destination is the Pub for a pint and a Sunday Roast before going to the hotel We give you a tour of our hotel room at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, though as you will see we had some issues on check in and then head out to buy some essentials to save some $$$ Hope you enjoy this short vlog series.

Well that is a handy dandy little gadget. Us Brits have to have our tea. I have a smashing dual voltage portable kettle set I got in the Stone Age. Includes little containers for sugar, tea bags and, a couple of small cups. Everything packs inside itself although it is always a challenge trying to remember exactly how to pack it all up again. Good tip on grabbing the plastic cutlery.

Great vlog. Looking forward to the rest of your trip. You guys are people after my own heart - I am always looking for ways to save money. Took a kettle with us in October from UK to Orlando. It was obviously very slow but I used it a lot for drinks, porridge and pot noodles. Saves a fortune on the cost of food and drinks, especially in the parks.

Looks like a great start to your trip. It wasn’t too long ago and prepacked sandwiches were unheard of in the US. Great seats on the plane with lots of legroom. Didn’t they have any bigger Yorkshire puds? 😂

In the UK, you normally get without asking, so you have to make sure you do that in the USA

Taxis from airport to strip hotels are now a flat rate due to most tourists being ripped off. $19-$23 Love the seductive music with the gravy pour 😅 Also, MGM Grand has a separate check in area for Stay Well guests. They have some light snacks and water for free.
