If you guys want to do a canal tour as well, choose the small boats. Even if it's a bit more expensive, it's worth it because it's way cozier and more intimate (not such a "mass processing"), and the tour guides are so kind and cute and you get to see much more because they have no walls & windows (the boats, not the tour guides).

Melissa B. I went on the most amazing one in Amsterdam by I believe "Two Dam Boat Guys" and let me tell you, NOTHING can top them. They're personable, and hilarious and will answer ANY question you ask. Not commercial and definitely the best one in Amsterdam

Tess next time you come to Europe you should come to Scotland - awesome scenery and awesome castles! If you come in August Edinburgh festival is on, loads of shows, music and street performers, it gets pretty touristy but it's still amazing, I feel like you and Pat would love it!

I traveled to London and Paris this past Christmas with my family and it was the greatest experience of my life! The next time you're in Paris you have to go to Montmartre. Europe is so beautiful and I encourage everyone to travel there if they have the chance!

I commented something similar to this on Alex's vlog, but it's so weird because I'm studying abroad in London (from Michigan) and we had a week and a half off, and some friends and I went to Paris and Amsterdam the same days as you guys for the same amount of time! And then went home to London obviously, so we were in the same places! So weird, the world is such a small place. Wish I could have ran into you!

i went with a group from my university. i didn't know any of them before but i became good friends with some of them :) you'll make friends with classmates for sure. and it's also amazing going out and about on your own - i spent a good chunk of time alone just exploring. it's really easy to do that over their bc the public transit is easy/reliable (it's not where i live lol) also don't be scared to use tinder! we hit up some dudes to find out what bars were good, what sights to see, etc and we had a lot of fun just doing that.

Im Vienna I recommend Schloss Schönbrunn, the Hofburg, the Stephansdom and the Citypark. There are also great shopping opportunities in Vienna like Kärntner Staße and Mariahilferstraße. Other places like the Salzkammergut are amazing for outdoor sports. You can go hiking or swimming. The Steiermark is amazing for Pumpkinseed-oil

yes! i've been to both London and Amsterdam and i'm in love with both! i agree with what you said about amsterdam being so laid back.. that's what i love about it too. i'm saving up my money and going to Paris next!! when we were in amsterdam we went to the Pancake Bakery to get the loaded pancakes. we also did the canal tour and went to the museum and saw the Iamsterdam sign. and in london we saw all the basic tourists stuff.. buckingham palace and the london eye
