Maybe it's just me but I don't understand why people hate long flights. I love them!! I love packing and the thrill. I hate the dragging of suitcases but it's worth it!

Unless you're flying first class, lomg flights can be uncomfortable. You're sitting for a long time and it can be hard on your back and legs.

A few tips for long haul flights -Backpack its way better than a tote/handbag you arms and hands would be more free to drag your suitcase and have documents in your hands and there won't be any hamstrings because of the heavyness (the fashion police won't fine you) -Take your laptop or any expensive items on board with you, you never know your bag might get lost or stuck in the other side of the world

What wasn't mentioned was any medications should always be with you, saline nose spray as well as eye drops since the air is dry, and one set of under garments. If your luggage gets misplaced, all these items are a life saver!

Airlines are afraid that personal electronics could hamper the avionics equipment in the cockpit, which are used for navigation. Almost all personal electronics, including tablets, laptops, cell phones, e-books, and handheld gaming consoles emit radio waves. If those radio waves have a frequency that’s too similar to the ones used by the navigational apparatus, then the radar, communications, and collision avoidance technologies could be altered :)

Your mobile phone signal doesn't actually interfere with any of the navigation equipment or other electronic equipment on the aircraft. However, this wasn't always known, so the rule was introduced as a precaution and most airlines just haven't bothered to rescind it. It's sort of an 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it' type of deal now.

After checking out all the possible reasons for this we discovered that a person was operating some type of tape-recorded music and was listening with a headset. Our Long-range antenna was about 3- 6 feet away from this headset. Someone asked the lady to turn it off for a moment and sure enough it was the signal sent from the radio to the headset that was interfering with our long-range radio. After that, all the Nav instruments aligned up correctly.
