Talking about the pants is not jinxing it! On one trip I learned my lesson the hard way. Cancelled flights, I ended up traveling for 2 days and no change of clothes! I now travel with a whole change of clothes in my carry-on. Always. Also had someone spill orange juice on me in the plane...change of clothes for the win!

Ear plugs are good because they mute the high pitched whine of the jet engines. You think it doesn’t bother you, but you will be grateful for the difference. Ear plugs don’t totally block sound, but make it seem far away.
