A short drive up to Wat Phrathat Doi Khah, then on to Lanna Resort & a bite or coffee at Valley Coffee is a good way to spend a few hours & get you into the country side. Lots to see & enjoy in CM. Hope we can get back this year.

@@AlwaysonaJourney On Nov. 5. I received the visa quickly from the New York Thai Embassy. I just applied the COE. The COE site kept telling me to upload a vaccine certification, which I did, and repeatedly showed that error message. After several times of trying to upload it, I realized that I had pressed the arrow "upload" icon at the bottom left of each document. I assumed that dragging and dropping would automatically upload the documents, but that wasn't the case. Anywho, I got it sorted out and submitted.

If you want to stay for 60 days , you can enter with a 30 day visa exemption and then visit immigration to apply for a 30 day extension for 1,900THB.

@@201cmm it's optional you can either apply for a 60 day tourist visa in advance or do the 30 day extension in Thailand. I have never applied for a tourist visa online so I'm not familiar with the current process.

Flying next week, got all my documentary ducks in a row, and the Thai pass. . Now looking at domestic flights and how to get back. Seems that double vaccination is ok for Thai domestic (all destinations ? and no need for a test. Will fly Phuket > Khon Kaen > BK. For departure flight back BK to Europe, not sure if I will need an additional fit to fly test. Its Not needed for the EU destination, but seems it can cause problems at BK airport if you don’t have a test certificate. Anyone had experience ?

So I'm using the E-Visa website in an attempt to get a 6-month multiple-entry tourist visa they asked me for additional documents containing sensitive information but I don't know where to send them. There is no way to submit additional documents on the website, applying for a new visa with the extra document isn't submitted unless I pay another $200 to submit it, I have the consulate email but there's no telling who will receive it. Does anyone know where to submit _additional_ documents on the E-Visa website?

Thanks for the detailed rundown of domestic air travel. Seems fairly straightforward if you have your vaccine certificate. I am coming in a little over 3 weeks, but it is up in the air again what I will require upon entry. The Thailand Pass seems like a rebranded COE. In terms of places to see and go in the North of Thailand off the main tourist trail, I recommend Phayao, Nan, Phetchabun and Loei provinces, especially when you have a car.
