Utah would love to have you come visit again! We have some awesome hikes and more national parks and some great state parks. I bet you guys would love Goblin Valley State Park if you didn’t visit it while you were here. I also really liked Capitol Reef, hiking through the slot canyons is really cool but if you hear thunder or smell rain, flash floods are no joke, so don’t leave the van in a “wash” (flat zone in a low area)

I think it's so funny that you said you have liked Salt Lake City unexpectedly lol! My husband and I went on a month long cross country road trip from MD to Death Valley about 2 years ago now and we had the SAME experience!! We were mesmerized by the people and the culture there that we ended up staying there the longest out of all the towns/cities we visited on our trip!

Friend works for NPS .. It’s called the National Park “Service “ , she says the NPS is being forced ( either a local group doesn’t have the funds or management ability or staff ) to manage a lot of sites that you would think of as not a National Park . For instance , St Louis arch , John Adam’s home in Quincy ; the White House , Independence Mall in Philadelphia some are very small monuments , small waterfall in Patterson NJ … etc … So the NPS is more like a “Trust” to preserve and manage these sites . Not just vast amounts of land . Don’t underestimate the value of Bureau of Land Management as well .

That's so cool how many states you have visited and plan to visit. The blankets you are making with all the yarns you get from each state are both awesome! Please when you make the lion brand "USA All the Way" blanket can you make Washington the "Evergreen State" in a green yarn color if possible? The one they show from Lion brand makes it brown but my state has tons of greenery and lots of forestery. Love your videos and your yarn-traveling journey. 😀

If you have more than 1 yarn from a state, you could make that state multiple colors, using the 3 or 4 different yarns. A state doesn't haven't to be just 1 yarn color.

This was so nice!! I got the pair of socks I'm working on out to knit while we "chatted". It was really cute to see the two of you interact more, Kent is much more a behind the scenes guy and when you're together the banter is SO fun (I actually laughed out loud and giggled at so many of your back-and-forths - "we're only in our early thirties - well, mid" "dang" (with a crit 20 damage LOL)). It was also great to learn more about you two and the lifestyle you're living now; a little note, idk, feel free to completely ignore me, but: the profile picture of Natalie looks lovely, don't get me wrong, but it's from a few years ago and lately you've looked absolutely gorgeous, truly radiant - it'd be a great moment to get a new pfp? Again, I know you definitely do not need to listen to me and this is in no way shape or form a criticism to what you looked like, but you're even more beautiful nowadays than you were in the current pic

#Question. How many miles have you put on the van so far? BTW if you ever build a custom van in the future, Nikki Delventhal on KZbin has a really cool shower set-up. She travels full time with her two dogs, and didn’t want to dedicate space to a full bathroom. No plumbing for her toilet, either, but offhand I can’t remember what type she has.
