@@Monicmem1964 Yeah, it's easy to judge others just based on their KZbin personas.. I think Kara and Nate's vlogs are fantastic, and if you don't, well.. if you don't have anything nice to say about someone then don't say anything at all.

Is there a double LIKE button? I know this vlog was rough to make, but I absolutely loved it. International travel and vlogs like this are the reasons I chose to subscribe to your channel way back before the pandemic. Van life is fun but nothing beats seeing you guys in a foreign country immersed in the culture and food. Excited to see you guys in a Christmas Market again!! 🎄

So glad you guys are doing international travel again! My longest flight was LA to Hong Kong which was around 15 hours. It was a few years ago but I am happy to say I didn't really have a terrible experience. Flew solo, window seat and just watched a bunch of terrible movies on the flight.

I’ve traveled all over the world (and 9/10 in economy… ugh) but I can honestly say that Singapore is probably in my top 3 countries… my parents actually lived there for many years for work before they had me and my sister… and we have been back there multiple times (with them, and on my own) since…. I love the food scene, the vibrancy, the multi-culturaliam… the heat!!! It’s amazing.

The longest travel day in our lives was also flying to Singapore. 36 hours door to door from our house in Florida to our hotel in Singapore. We flew from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta in Delta Economy, then a 2.5 hour layover, then 16+ hours from Atlanta to Seoul, Korea in Korean Air Economy, then another 2.5 hour layover, and then 7 hours from Seoul to Singapore in Korean Air Economy. Luckily, on the final leg, my husband and I each had a row to ourselves, so we were were able to lay down and sleep the entire flight (which landed at around midnight, Singapore time). No problem with jet lag though because the late arrival time allowed us to go right to sleep once we got to our hotel, and wake up refreshed with our bodies synched with local time.

do you know you can ask for a second meal if you ask nicely they don't have a problem with it. and that goes for the snacks too. Also don't be afraid to ask for a upgrade or to change seats. be kind to your attendants and they will more than likely bend backwards to accommodate, just don't expect it and say Ty no matter the outcome might be out of their hands.

My only experiences of Singapore Airport is a stop-over on the way from London to Sydney. After the first ever time I tried it, I quickly noticed that you can rent a shower inside the terminal at Singapore. Every time after that I would take a change of clothes. It kinda made it bearable (London to Sydney is pushing 24 hours and requires two flights, and you feel 'sticky' if you don't get a shower and new clothes).

So this all sounds amazing! Have a great time. I’ll be in Singapore in October- doing the non-stop Singapore Air flight from LAX, which is also over 17 hours. Thankfully I can usually sleep ok on planes, and I’ll be going premium economy which provides a little more legroom and recline. But, I’m also one of those folks that loves long haul flights.
