Hello i suppose that the exchange offered in Istanbul or Belgrade airport is not the best So can I ask you how many usd did you change at the airport? To cover taxi and check in hotel? Or did you exchange everything there? Can you confirm that I can open a bank account in Moscow with euros? And last question: can I buy in Moscow an airlines ticket in cash to fly domestically ? Thank you

Thanks for watching my video and asking me your questions. I bought my Russian Roubles at a Western Union in downtown Belgrade. I didn't exchange any money at Vnukovo airport in Moscow, because the exchange office was closed. So, I brought enough to cover my stay in Russia (which was very cheap - please watch my Russia videos 1 to 7 - to see my adventure video 1 is my arrival at 2am - you'll learn a LOT, I'm sure). Yes - I was told you can open the bank account in US$ or Euros - however, they will exchange it into Roubles. NO - you can't buy a ticket in cash to fly domestically - you will need the Russian Debit card to go on-line and buy the ticket. However, ONLY via the official airline website (like Aeroflot, etc.) - you can't use Expedia, or any other Western travel website. You're the first person who actually asked me a question about my travels. The rest of the comments were all hateful towards me . So, I thank you. :) Dev

Thanks for your nice words. I post 3 new travel videos every week. If I post from a popular location (like Venice) - I try and offer a different take on Venice than the regular tourism videos. If I post from a non-popular location (like Tallinn, Estonia), I offer a factual perspective so that it's learning for the viewer. If you watch my Russia series from video 1 through video 7 - you'll get an idea of the "real" Russia before you go (if you go). When I arrived in Russia and just before I arrived - I was terrified (as you will see from video 1 of 8) - I assumed "some" of what our western media tells us about Russia is true. By video 7 - I learned NONE of what we're told by our media is true. Funny - I'm well into my 60's and I'm learning about our media at my senior age. LOL. Dev

Mariupol is also great to visit. It might not be Russian on the maps the free world are using, but Alexander Rybin says it's a great place... What happend to Alexander?

I only went to Moscow on this trip as I was so nervous because I was brainwashed by our western media that Russia was an evil place (it wasn't). I'll be going back to Russia in the next year and I'll post more videos from my travel. Dev

Bilhorod is much better than Bakhmut. The whole Ukraine will look like Bakhmut. Have a good day! 🎉🎉🎉

Hey Dave, I would like to hear about your trip from America to Russia, specifically the airports you traveled through. It was a big scare for many Americans when the State Department strongly insisted and warned Americans not to travel to Russia, saying they may be arrested with "no cause," and that American citizens are extremely likely to be kidnapped in Russian airports for no apparent reason, and that American citizens cannot be rescued or helped in any way if anything goes wrong.

Hi there: Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure what more I can tell you about my trip. The video you saw was video 8 of 8. If you watch my Russia videos in sequence 1 of 8 through to 7 of 8, it shows my journey. I hope you are able to follow along on my trip and after you watch all 7 prior videos, if you have further questions, I'll be happy to answer. I hope you subscribe to my channel. I post 3 new travel videos every week. Dev

Also, just as fact - not only the US State Department, but also the Canadian government website (along with all western government websites) says don't travel to Russia. What I asked myself - is if they are already warning us not to travel there - then why have the USA, Canada, UK, European governments made it "virtually commercially impossible" to travel there? Wasn't just warning us enough? It seemed fishy to me. It's like saying don't speed on the I-95, and then, the government using jackhammers and bulldozers to destroy the I-95 (I hope you can get my far fetched analogy - and have a sense of humor when you read it). To be honest with you - two things - 1) I was actually so very terrified that I had made a huge mistake when I landed in Russia. 2) I thought "at least some" of the information which our government says must be true. I learned differently (as you will see in my videos 1 to 7). Smiles. Dev
