There are a few components to how to get paid for photos. One place I found that successfully combines these is the Hartlyn Photo Pro (google it if you're interested) it's the best blueprint that I've seen. Check out all the amazing information .

Hi Nicole, I have two queries: 1) Most of my photos are lower than 300 dpi and less than 3 MB size taken by a compact digital camera; not DSLR. Can I edit and increase the size/dimension using photoshop and sell it to Shutterstock? 2) When someone purchases our photos, will he/she provide the photo credit either the photo is used for the commercial or editorial purpose? Thank you.

Hello Nicole. I enjoy your videos and i have a question ! How can i get noticed by curators on shutterstock ( curated collections ) ? I mean, do i have to have any downloads of particular video or photo ? Or they just pick up what they personally like ?
@ADAtrips5 жыл бұрын
Thankyou Nicole 😎 First I uploaded my First shutterstock. I was sitting in the HNL AirPort when some protesters came by. I thought of you and went up and snaped a couple, uploaded a short video and gave you honors Then uploaded a shutterstock. Even If no one wants to buy, At least I created my first, Thankyou 🌴Aloha

Wherever I go, I always look for signs that name, or give directions to, whatever attraction I am visiting. These are invaluable if I want to do a slide show or a blog posting. Apparently, a lot of people don't think of this until they get back home. I always post these on the stock sites, and they sell very well. Just remember to scrub them of trademarks if you want to post them as commercial. For example, the National Park Service logo is trademarked, and must be edited out for commercial purposes!

Hi Nicole. I have been a fan of your work for long time, but I have always wanted to ask if you recommend a VA to do all of the uploading/titles/keywords and seo for stock photos ? I can easily take 100 worthy shots in a day but it would take a few more days to do research on keywords and titles etc, is this a task you do personally.
@NicoleGlass5 жыл бұрын
Hi Craig. Yes, I do everything myself. It's a lot of work. Very time consuming. But by doing it so much, I've gotten pretty fast at it and I can easily get 100+ photos keyworded and captioned in a day.

Hello, Am from Africa and I do many Safaris within The Pearl of Africa and I would like to start selling my photos on shutter stock. What do you say about Africa..? Basically
@tonywoodhouse69885 жыл бұрын
Great video Nicole. One question - when keywording your photos, if you include the location of your photo in the title, e.g "Artefacts seen at the Vietnam War Museum", is it still necessary to repeat each of those words in the keywords section, thus saving a few keywords. Will the search algorithm still find them if the search is "Vietnam" for example?
@NicoleGlass5 жыл бұрын
Based on searches I've done, both the words in your caption and in your keywords are searchable. But SS does not disclose how the algorithm works so I can't say if it's beneficial or not to include the words twice.

Hello Nicole, just curious if you feel any of the Coppa laws that You Tube is implementing in Jan will cause you any grief? Sounds like it is going to be a mess for many. Just my $0.02 Ken
@NicoleGlass5 жыл бұрын
Hey Ken. It's a really unfortunate situation for a lot of KZbin creators. In my case, however, I think I'm fine: 0% of my KZbin audience is under 18 (or maybe it's like .001 but it shows as 0%) and overall the audience is a little bit older.
@archygrey90935 жыл бұрын
The laws would be affecting videos that they think would appeal to kids. Videos about about fortnight with lots of bright colours and stuff

I'm sure you will be fine, but you might want to know what is going on with COPPA and the FTC.
@NicoleGlass5 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I am aware. I don't think it will affect me, considering that .0001 of my audience is under 18 (it shows as 0%) -- but I am concerned for other creators who are in a more unfortunate situation.
