I live in NY. I go to the dentist in Tijuana. I fly to San Diego, have a 2 week vacation and take the trolley to TJ for my awesome biological dentist services. All this included is still less $$ than just going to a biological dentist in NY. So ridiculous!

1. Georgia is absolutely TERRIFIC 2. Countries like Georgia and Ukraine are known in Europe for dental tourism, cause you get tremendous doctors and the same equipment as the UK or in the US for 1/10 of the cost!

Usually love the videos, but there is news for you guys: there are good places outside US, btw, Brazil is considered one of the best, or the best place in odontology. There is also good things in Peru, probably, right Tom? The comments were like there is no good tings outside the US, and that's funny, but also wrong. So I love it hahahah Love from Brazil, keep the good work.

The US dental field is so corrupt. I worked for a state healthcare agency, and there's constant cases of Medicaid and Medicare patients who get bad or unnecessary dental work and then once the dentist charges the insurance for the service, the insurance will refuse to pay for any other dentist to fix it if the first one F's it up. Private insurances aren't much better, cuz turns out having a for profit healthcare system like the US isn't beneficial for the patients lol. Dentists will charge for work they never did, and unless you have moola like Tim to hire a lawyer to prove it then the insurance won't care.

Something funny about this video and their reaction to it.....Ive travelled in Mexico and Asia keeping on a low budget for most of the trips. I knew I put myself in some sketchy situations....a lot actually, but I was travelling before digital cameras had gotten so capable of taking photos and videos, and before the concept of documenting everything I saw. Id have an entire movies worth of ....damn, this place and what Im doing probably isnt the best, safest idea to be getting myself into. From travelling to areas not recommended for tourists, to $2 rooms, to being taken out to play with cobras and eat them....I was so engrossd by the adventures, I guess I surrendered playing it safe. Travelling down dirt highways in Cambodia that had warning signs everywhere warning about road pirates stopping and robbing and kidnapping busses...that was a fun nightmare. Taking backwoods treks in communist Laos where foreigners had strict restrictions where you could go, and crawl through caves that we nearly got stuck in, and another cave where we had to hold our breath to swim a couple minute through a flooded cave to get to the other side of the mountain....using mini mag lights in zip lock bags to see,......we were only about a 4 days walk back to any civilization. Travelling up the Mekong river in a dinky little boat dodging whirlpools. Taking treks down old opium runner trails where foreigners risked getting caught by Chinese cartel, and riding in the back of old military troop transports down cliff side mountains that trucks going over the cliff was boring news it happened so frequently. Eating too much happy pizza...pizza covered in an epic amount of weed, and getting so stoned, we got lost in the poorest of Cambodian slums in the wee hours...but ended up getting invited by some old uncles to go play with cobras, cut them open, drink their blood and eat their heart. Trekking with farmers to the top of a mountain to pay respects to the mountain spirits for taking care of their livestock....in an area with tigers and cobras everywhere, and the next day being taken to a place out in the jungles where ex military guys had a stash of old military machine guns and weapons that you could go shoot....and also ride high speed go karts out there. Meeting Thai biker, gangster rasta guys that took me to some place where they were doing traditional tattoos, drinking rice wine with cobras, scorpions and centipedes in it. Those and so many other crazy adventures, and I have almost ZERO pictures of any of it. I always had my camera, but honestly never wanted to go pulling out the camera like some silly tourist with a camera stuck between their face and what there was to see. I have loads of pictures, but very few of them were of any of the nutso crazy adventures I fell into. Had it have been a decade later when the idea of filming and sharing things online was a thing, and cameras been better, Id have so many viral videos to share, it seems unlikely that much of it would have gone viral. So many of those adventures were just plain poor decisions, BUT, I came out of it relatively unscathed, and now have some crazy cherished memories to remember and share. I must be crazy, just thinking about it makes me want to go back for more. One plus, I got a horrible case of dengue fever while in an area with dengue warnings, I survived, and now am immune to the strain I got, so wouldnt have to worry about that again.

Embarrassingly out of touch. The X-ray machine in that video has only existed for 5 years and is literally cutting edge. Just because they haven’t got plants and neon lights and assistants with cheek fillers does not justify the 1000% price difference. I was expecting videos of people getting held up at gunpoint not staying in a cheap hotel or getting world class dentistry in a non-aesthetically pleasing clinic
