Travel Toiletries Hack! Keeping it CLEAN!

I wash them with soap and warm water, dry them with tissue and spray them with Rubbing alcohol n leave them to dry on their own. After they dry I keep them away in ziplocks

Thank you Eunice, i do the same thing (use up the product, wash containers, dry and put away with lids separate or loose). I felt kind of ocd doing that so i feel better knowing there's a good reason to do it this way and i am not alone! 😊

I’ve been doing the same thing for a while. I use contact case for some of my cream medications and even skincare or foundation. I love my label maker to label them as well. The labels on my GoToobs have lasted and lasted so far despite being in the shower while I use up my hair products.

Leakproof containers are important. Only found one small container that doesn’t leak my eye makeup remover, and it’s 75ml.

I use a makeup remover balm. It is gentler on my skin and easier to haul around.

@@maryyee7117 one thing I do when I get back from my travel adventures is always unpack, clean out all of my toiletry things or use up whatever I have and then clean it out. I’ll also replace things that don’t need to be putting those containers and and get ready for my next trip.😊

Good point, i was just debating if i should leave my toiletries oacked for the next trip or not. I do put a lot of lotions in squeeze tubes from Muji, so i dont think they get very contaminated

@@Onurtime it really depends on how often you travel and how long that stuff sits in there. Also how sensitive your skin is to certain bacteria I have rosacea so my skin is super sensitive to that stuff.

How long do you travel for usually? (I'll be gone for about a month but I want to pack as light as possible)

The length of time that I go on a trip varies, but when I’m carrying the small contact lens cases with product in it that will usually last me about 5 to 7 days depending on what I’m doing and where I’m going and the time of year. I have several videos on my channel about packing carry-on only and packing light so you may wanna head over there and see if there’s something in those videos that could help you travel carry-on only. Traveling light as in light and weight, I’m gonna be making a video here in a couple weeks about some great products that are going to help reduce the load.😊
