Today I will teach you some tips for when you travel with kids in an airplane. I will show you some ways to pack plus some tips and tricks for keeping toddlers occupied. I also hope to make you feel empowered, confident, and less stressed. I will break down the problems I had as a mom traveling with a baby and then tips and tricks that worked during the toddler years.
If you fly with kids during the pandemic, you have to make 2 years old and older keep their mask on for the whole flight. But you can do it; you’re a mom! Think tips and tricks! #travelwithkids #travelwithtoddler #familytraveltips #flywithkids

I’m only 12 but I still love watching your videos. I send these to my dad a lot. Haha! Have a great day! Tip: Again, I’m 12 and this has worked for me. I bring a baggy and I put my phone or I bring a bigger bag to put my iPad in. I put the bag between the tray clasp and the tray itself. Now, with my phone facing me I can watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. *CLEAR BAG*

We had a Trunki for my toddler. He loved it. When he got tired, he just sat on it and we pulled him along. Or he could also ride it himself. I also used a stroller bag and put our jackets and extra loose things in there with the stroller. Oh, I forgot, I also had reins for him when he started walking. That way I could sit down and he could move about and still be attached to me.

Just keep calm. When you freak out or worry, thats what gets the kid worked up. Ive traveled solo with 3 boys, its not as bad as you think, especially with a potty trained child. Bring a small snack for every 1.5 hr of flight and maybe 2-3 new activity books(dollar store), and a favorite sweater. Dont forget your sanitizer and mask. Enjoy yourself and stay calm. Hard candy is also fun, set a timer on the phone and play "who can make the candy last longest" 😉

Great video, Laurie. A travel item i suggest for young babies and toddlers is the Doona all in one stroller car seat. The wheels fold up into the seat and becomes the car seat. Then when it's time to de-board, just push the button to pop the wheels back down into a stroller. It's FAA approved for on airplane use without the base. Also pack a blowout kit. In a gallon ziplock bag have extra clothes, wipes, diaper, cream and powder. Another tip I was given. Book red eyes that take off around bed time. Do the bed time routine when you get to the gate so they start to get tired. Then hopefully by the time you hit the runway they're out cold Oh and airlines have bassinets on some planes. When you book the ticket, call the airline directly to book the bassinet.

Hi! You can take any dry food; but the new food rule is: food must all be in one clear bag and that bag goes in the gray bin. For kids you're allowed liquids but just put it by itself (not in liquids bin) in the gray bin. You could get the myTSA free app and ask them. On my daughters first flight without me, age 5, she was with her great grandma & I sent them with a 100 piece puzzle. (ATL to FLL) Also we made rice krispie treats to make the trip special. I was laughing with the blowout tips, as I had a few of those myself.
