Travel Zombicide : Unboxing

I'm pretty excited for this actually. I own tiny epic zombies, but that has a rather large table presence vs its box size. This travel Zombicide would work well for actually travelling. The game could fit on an airplane tray table since the board can overhang off an edge easily. Board games during a long plane ride or while camping instead of screens, yes please.

That’s so true. The small foot print and the fact that it’s self contained make it truly portable and not just small to store.

Really interesting that all the graphics are 2nd edition, but the sculpts are 1st edition versions.

Well it’s like 8mm vs the normal 28/32 mm so it’s sort of it’s own thing.

i think it can be easily customized, just need thin metal plate to be layered between the map and plastic case and magnet under the minis

You should probably color coded the zombies so they can be differentiated by glace, whether its walker, runner or fatties. They barely have details anyways

The problem is that you still can't play this in a car, train, on plane or whatever because the minis will fall off. This would be literally perfect if they used some magnets.

Yeah with the stuff being that small I’m surprised it wasn’t a part of it. But magnets cause extra hassle when dealing with customs and some other shipping issues and of course cost more I I think since it was already 50 bucks or so they decided it would just be too expensive. But a great DIY project for someone who wants to make it happen.

Sure the minis are very small but that’s the idea to make it portable. I think magnets would have made it much much better but it does exactly what it’s meant to. It’s not a replacement or the same as a full size game just a compromise for travel or extremely small space issues.
