We are leaving after 3 weeks and we loved seeing how well loved dogs are here. They were everywhere and helped us cope with leaving ours behind at home. We even saw homeless people with well kept dogs and we donated money to them. We were not ready for toilets without seats or locks. We wished we had waterproof boots or shoes in Venice when we visited on the full moon. We also had no idea that taxis would be nearly impossible to find in Siena and Florence.

I love Modena!!! Thanks for your suggestions while I was there at New Years. (My bottles of balsamico from Giusti are almost empty.. 😢💙💙💙) I hope to visit again one day, & will be looking to return to Modena, & having the local tortellini soup!!!
