Vendor after vendor after vendor, this is the Indonesian street food in Jakarta! We do a 24-hour food fest in Jakarta and this is what we found in Jalan Sabang, one of Jakarta’s most famous night food markets. This is the best! From satay to fresh-cut fruit to martabak telur, we find something for everyone in our family to eat. We even try fresh palm fruit for the first time! This place is where it is at with it is for crowds, vendors, music, and more. What is the fruit called that we ate at the end of the video? We know it by a few different names, but it seems to be different everywhere we go. We’d love to know what it is called where you are from. We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family.
