I've traveled to the PRC with my late dad and mom. He was in his 70s and early 80s when we toured China. My mom was in her 50 and 60s at that time. We've been to the three Northeastern provinces, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangxi, Guangzhou, Qinghai, Tibet. I thank God everyday for those moments in time.

Hi 建國，When we eat, we usually hold the bowl up to our mouths, and then we put the rice and side dishes into our mouths(we call this "以碗就口"), so we don't need to be too skillful in using chopsticks... I noticed that when you eat rice, side dishes and rice are eaten separately, this may be a westerner's habit of eating , in fact, we usually eat rice and side dishes together, so that when the rice is eaten into the mouth there will be not bland and tasteless, and at the same time it will reduce the salty taste of the side dishes... By using the "以碗就口" method, you can easily eat the rice and side dishes together...

Everything looked delicious! The chicken reminded me of that Big Plate Chicken Dish from Stuart's video on Xinjiang food! The area with the lighthouse where they went for a stroll after their meal seemed really nice and peaceful. The way Bob angled himself while behind the polaroid picture photo frame thing was funny~
