I "struggle" with multi-dimensional patterns -Anything not flat! I've lost count of how many projects have hit recycling! I just made one of these! I love it! Great tutorial and thank you for also including the step by step I would give you 5 thumbs up!

Wonderful pattern and so nicely presented. Please don’t let the negative comments prevent you from sharing your talents. This would look lovely with the outside of the bag quilted, I think. I love your fabric choices - great job!

Could you do french seams for a cleaner finish ?
@sewsimplehome2 ай бұрын
I think that would work. You may need to add a slightly bigger seam allowance just to ensure you can enclose them.

I followed your pattern & video and seem to have a narrower top half where the zipper is than the base of the bag. Is it supposed to be like that?
@MeganGallagher-lb5in Жыл бұрын
It’s kind of become a roof like shape with the zipper edge being the narrowest. Amazing pattern and video though its probably user error as im new to this.
@sewsimplehome Жыл бұрын
It could be just how wide you made the boxed corners. Feel free to email a photo to me at chelsea@sewsimplehome.com and I can take a look and walk you through fixing.

Thank you for the pattern. I had the same issue though, I think the pattern doesn't have allowances for when we see the zipper edge and top stitch. I will redo it with allowance and see how it turns out ❤

Hi im new to sewing and this will be my first ever project and id prefer to use interfacing. How much interfacing would i need? Do i cut it too?
@sewsimplehome9 ай бұрын
For this project you'll need about 1/4 yard of interfacing. I use fusible interfacing and cut it to fit the project. You can see the photo tutorial on the blog and that might better help you see how the project is put together. www.sewsimplehome.com/2023/08/boxed-bag-pattern.html
