I don't like the puppy pad. I usually use a towel that has my scent on it. Keeps them calm and a scent of home. Best thing for a cat is not changing their environment. You do that drastically when traveling. Giving them familiar scents helps them a lot.

Virgin Australia has announced that small pets (cats & dogs) will soon be allowed to accompany passengers in Australia will soon be allowed to travel with their owners, in carriers under the seat in front. So this video is handy. (From Kym in Darwin Australia - with 3 tuxedo cats (aged 2 to 4). It’s a 4 hr flight from Darwin to Melbourne or 5 to Sydney. Perth to Sydney is 4.5 hrs)

I'm about to fly for the first time with my fur babies. My vet recommended a mild tranquilizer but American Airlines doesn't accept tranquilized or sedated pets. I bought a calming spray but IDK how much it's going to help lol. My 2 kitties are great when I drive them around but my third one meows like crazy she gets so scared! I'm moving so I have no choice. I'm crossing my fingers that we don't have any potty accidents on the plane but I did get the pee pads. I wonder how they would react to diapers that people use for dogs.

I’m taking my 8 year old kitty on a plan end of this year.She already doesn’t like car rides so I’m trying to get her used to that as well as a backpack carrier she loves her regular carrier so I don’t have a problem with that but as soon as I get her into the car she meows in salivates the entire time so I’m trying to get her used to that do you have any tips for when she gets noisy on a plane? @@gabrielaisabelkeeton8422 it went okay ♡ we gave him pills to be calm and he was doinh great during 12 hour filght after layover i took him to toilet and he peed and gave him a snack, however the layover was about 4 hours and next flight was an hour so the pill was no longer effected :/ so during the last flight he started to be loud and omg in the car ride which took 3 hours it was a nightmare 💔 ( lound aggressive meowing) so i recommend maybe for longer time to take 2 pills and after 10 hour time to gave your cat second pill

How do I get them to use a puppy pad, I removed the sand from the litter box and put a puppy pad in it to get them used to it. They held in their pee all day and when I switched back to sand to let them pee they jumped in so fast and went poo at the same time together in the litter. HELP

You don't need a puppy pads, because cats never gonna take a bathroom at unfamiliar ambience. It's a little stress for cats so they will not gonna pee because of this.

One of my cats peed her carrier when flying from Illinois, US to Bogota, Colombia (total trip time 18hours). It was catastrophic as it happened as soon as the second flight started, after we had spent one hour at the pet relief zone with litter box that she did not want to use... this time, I'm travelling to Ottawa, Canada, long trip again (15 hours). I will put the pee pad this time to see how it goes!

For delta they have a cabin specific capacity. For instance up to 4 animals can fly in main, 2 in comfort+, 2 in first. Check with your airlines pet policy. Some airlines restrict 1 animal per passenger.
