Udon Thani, Thailand is an interesting place to travel to. It is in north eastern Thailand close by the Lao border. It is considered to be the poor region of Thailand. I've lived there for about six months and it was amazing. They have night markets that offer all kinds of food. One of my favorite dishes was a salted flat fish that is cooked on a BBQ that came with a brown, nutty sauce with a side of noodles. It didn't cost more than four dollars to feed the three of us. You channel is awesome. It makes me want to travel more.

That's it, I'm subscribing. Watched your videos occasionally before, but this was a very educational one. I'm the only member of my family to have never visited (the motherland, 4 generations removed) China. But your videos are showing me that it's not as daunting of an experience that it has to be! Thanks for that :) My only question though ... as a visible minority foreigner, have you noticed a difference between how you're treated and that of foreigners of East Asian ancestry?
@Monkeyabroad8 жыл бұрын
+goshadowkenny Thanks so much for watching! But I'm not quite sure I understand your question.
@goshadowkenny8 жыл бұрын
+Monkey Abroad - Sorry if I was unclear. Rephrase: Have you noticed a difference between how foreigners of European or African descent are treated vs. foreigners of East Asian descent (Especially foreigners of Chinese descent)? IE: Someone who is culturally foreign, but biologically (superficially speaking) one of them.
@syncmaster915n8 жыл бұрын
+goshadowkenny I think in China, if you look Chinese, the local Chinese will expect you to act somewhat like Chinese. If you don't, they'll probably think you're weird and lose a little interest than when first meet you. If you're a real (Caucasians or Africans etc.)foreigner, they'll totally expect you to act like a foreigner. And most Chinese, especially in big cities, welcome foreigners and are quite friendly to them.
