Just put mine to the test this past week on my trip to Bradenton, handled big trout flounder and snook without a problem. Paired with the quantum smoke s3 inshore 3000 series super light and Great rod if you’re looking for an all around travel rod. Handles shrimp crab and artificials great.

I’ve been using TFO travel rods for years and find they are a top quality product you can count on in just about any inshore fishing. I have a friend who takes his to Canada every year to fish for pike and walleye and has similar praise for this product.

Can you guys recommend a good value 2 piece. I’d love to have a TFO professional in a 2 piece but they don’t make it. The price for the tactical travel is a little steep

Why would you compromise your rod just because you are traveling? I have a TFO I keep in the nose of my boat for that moment someone steps on your boat that has never used a fly rod before. I travel with one of my Winston's. Never compromise.
