I am glad you are doing The Kimberley . Ten years ago most overseas travelers did the East Coast if Australia but lately ,travellers are more adventurous and are visiting The Kimberley. Thank you for another amazing video , as always !

Yeah some parts on Northern Territory were pretty crowded with tourists to be honest. We did go at peak time however. It’s quite the adventure!

How did the summers treat you?

@@RhysandMissy They were hot but I like hot, don't like the cold. I worked for a mining company and lived in the Pilbara. Quite often the temp was into the 40's or high 30's for about 5 months of the year. Mostly between November to April, but the winter months were around 28 degrees with flocks of cockatoos and the red desert peas flowering along the road sides. I live in Perth now, but still hate the cold weather. Perth's climate is not as bad as some other places around. I'm a 5th generation Western Australian from convict beginnings in 1853.

Another great vid. You guys have great editing skills (but the scenery does a lot of the heavy lifting). I love the sights, your energy and your humour but I know you'll have to leave us eventually. I hate you for that. But I love you both. Hate. Envy. Keep the roller coaster going. ;)

Thank you so much for your comment, it means a lot!! Yeah we will have to leave eventually but that doesn’t mean it’s the end! We will have new adventures in store !

the mid mount engine packs a lot of heat and time to cool down when stopped, can keep the van toasty.
@RhysandMissy27 күн бұрын
Yeah sitting on your engine is not the best when trying to avoid heat. 😅
@andysparks197327 күн бұрын
@@RhysandMissy i would always try to park my engine down breeze , made a big differnce in my landcuiser, not mid mounted but might improve things a bit for ya's.

Emma's Gorgeous was GORGeous. Glad you got to do The Minis. Ants Suck. Continue to stay safe and have fun. I got heat stroke in the Northern Territories. A very special place, but gotta respect the heat exposure. Ace is doing an amazing job - no need for 4 wheel drive. Keep on keepin on.

victoria here, i reckon my fellow aussies that live up there will correct me if im wrong, looks like the wet season is brewing up there. edit. carry some surface spray.. spray the legs of you table/s at the ground level, bottom of your tyres, camp chair legs, anything that touches the ground. i had an infestation in my van on me kimberley trip in 2017, they got in via the stabiliser legs of my van. suffice to say, once doused in mortein, it never happened again.
