I like this trip already. Frist together trip with Your sisters, and as a Croatian from brother to brother ( I have I sister, tattoo artist in ZG) that travelled around, You made a better choice than You may have expected. BUUUUUT, BE HERE from May to October, and THEN explore the coastl. It's like the european Philippines, 12.K islands in our Adriatic sea. USA treats its citizens like children: Dont let them open the windows, they might jump out 😆 Its also good to have it open the upper side only, so that you can leave it while you sleep and not worry about window slamming from the winds or room getting too cold, but the primary use is (i think) to have it open and have curtains on, it doesnt take space also, like when you open it normally.

Real pearl of Croatia is town Dubrovnik and Croatian sea coast which is completelly different compared to inner parts of the country. We spent our summer holiday in Croatia almost every year but never spent time in Zagreb - we always just pass along Zagreb on highway as we cant wait to see Croatian sea….
