The best time to tour things is early in the morning or at the end of the day, especially in places like Assisi or Venice where they get bus and boat loads of tourists that are just there for the day. We wandered around Assisi in the misty rain at 7:30 one morning and it was magical.

If quaint was a country, it would be San Marino. Beautiful hills filled with history was hoping for them to win Eurovision this year because they had Flo Rida. Fingers still crossed to eventually see the day Valentina's backyard hosts Eurovision. But hey, at least they can say while they didn't win Eurovision this year, they became the smallest country to win an Olympic medal.

I live in Italy and I've never been to San Marino! You made it look so beautiful that i'm for sure putting it on my list, maybe for the fall! You also had MAD LUCK with the weather, not a cloud in sight! These hills and plains are usually covered in mist and smog, an you can't see very far! But the view was clear for you guyz! Amazing

It would have been so cool if you had taken a trip up to Norway on the way back to the UK. Here we have beautiful mountains and fjords, endless hikes and great places to fish. It is not as hot as the places you have all been to, but I promise it is worth your time! Or better yet, take a separate trip to Norway in the winter :)

I love watching your videos and have been doing a marathon of your van life videos. I love how you vegan as well! I’m gradually switching pay milk for milk and oat butter and things like that. I can’t believe how many vegan places you finding and it all looks great! I recommend going to Vietnam once COVID is over and maybe you could travel around Asia for a summer as well! Are the people of San Marino Italian descent? So curious, I have never heard of this country before, I may have thought it was a territory when I was in Italy. Thank you for making all the content throughout these years. It really grounds me into what I want my life to look and feel like. I have been to Costa Rica twice and my lust to travel more came from watching Louis during high school.

Sammarinese have definitely been mixed with Italians forever; even if it's so hard to get the citizenship, that thing is something unavoidable. Of course they get their identity and history, but… it's such a small country. As Italy we don't have so much to say about San Marino. I don't want to offend anyone, but nowadays it seems like a little town with 99% Italian life-style that has never joined Italy, with the benefits of being surrounded by Italy without the problem of the big nation (at least, since the Italy unification). I don't know if it's the least visited country, but I think is visited more than a regular Italian town of 33k people. But it's good that they started a Republic so early and then they maintained that till now. All the other ancient regions melted down becoming Italy, therefore they're special for sure.
