The carrier you can get on amazon. And the bed you can sometimes find at PetSmart. At PetSmart they are called ferret beds but they work just fine for hamsters.

I know I’m late, but I would not recommend that! The smaller the travelcage is, the more safe it is. If u have a big cage, u can’t really hold it on ur lap, or zip it up in seatbelts! Rather have a small travelcage, and bring the livingcage with you empty, so you can put ur hamster in its livingcage when you reach your destination! 🥰

Hello! How big is the cage? The bare minimum for any hamster is 450 square inches (width x length) it’s best to get a separate travel cage and when you do travel sprinkle their food (no food bowl) and add some cucumber or deseeded watermelon as a water source. No heavy hides or wheels as if the car makes a sharp turn or a sudden stop it won’t hurt the hamster if it falls on it

i would just use a small cage like a critter trail, because it is small but its a cage. but don't use the as its permanent cage. only for travel :)

A ball is not a good eksersize form. The hamster don't get up in his full speed in a ball, and it does not have enough ventilation. And a tube could roll around when traveling. Use a house instead, that you attatch on the cage.

How much are carriers? I love going on trips, so I'm thinking about saving up for a carrier. My mom said she doesn't want any pets after my dog and two Hamsters are gone because we can't travel with them. so if I buy a carrier she would continue letting me get Hamsters. (I don't travel too often, if I'm gone for only a day or two I would probably leave them home but maybe a week I would take them, can crittertrails be used as travelling cages?)

I might be moving out of state and I will be taking all my pets with me. I have a Dodge Neon so not a huge car and I will have a small trailer with me. I will divide the trip in 2 (a 10 hour drive and a 6 hour drive) stopping at a pet friendly hotel. How can I make sure my hamsters are comfortable?
