You did the right thing rescuing those cute baby skunks, those saying they should be put down like this and rescuing baby skunks is illegal? Refusing helping animals and killing baby skunks should be illegal. Who do they think they are? They deserve to live and they have a right to live. Again, you did the right thing.

This video is an object lesson in D&D alignment morality. First, the UO chooses Good/Neutral over Evil by not killing/abusing the skunks or by calling the authorities to have them euthanized. She then chooses Good vs Neutrality by returning the next day and rescuing them. Finally -- knowing that Chaotic Good would ignore the law and keep/raise them -- her decision to take the little stinkers out-of-state marks her as Neutral Good vs Lawful Good (though her angst over it puts her closer to the border between the two).

Governments are so backwards with laws. People are afraid to help others out of fear of breaking the law. That can be taken away but people up top don't want to. These are animals that need saving.

Could you get me in contact with the rescue that cares for them? I found a baby skunk today and want to care for it. Its mother was killed by a car!

Wild Wonders In Genola Utah. Good luck with finding a home for your baby skunk! Depending where you are located in the country there are also some skunk specific rescues in Texas and I believe in New Mexico it is not illegal to rescue skunks. How hard it is to help the skunk will depend on what state you are in

@@TravelingOnaShoestring thank you soo much! i did find an amazing rescuer and spent all of yesterday commuting him to her. I was sad to let him go but really happy he is somewhere with other skunks now:) I can see why some people keep them as pets. hes a huge cuddle bug!

Stop letting that little boy yell at that' dog...teach him to respect at a young age with animals...and screaming from excitement is not okay around any animal...it makes them nervous and makes they wonder if they did something wrong....and Great job to all involved in the rescue!!!!

I believe you. I'm sorry to hear that. If you want to try to save it I was told feeding them goats milk through a little dropper would be best. Then try to find a local rescue

That's not a good idea. They need to be able to defend themselves when they finally get released to the wild when older.
