I’ve gotta be honest Robert, you and your channel and your videos have kept my sanity through this year so far. This is the first year in a long time we’ve not been able to go on holiday, so Traveling vicariously through you has been something I, and I’m sure many people, am immensely grateful for. So, thank YOU for what you do. And that goes for your good lady too. Pass on our thanks to Illy (hope I spelled that correctly) too. She’s as much part of this as you are. So, cheers guys....you’re legends! 🙌😁

Those huge piles of oyster shells you showed actually have a special purpose. They get bundled together in very large net bags and are dropped offshore to form new oyster beds. It's one of the most effective ways found to increase the supply. Great video, as always!

Great video as always. Hope you give Apalachicola another chance as my wife and I had a great time there a few years ago. It demands at least an overnight stay to get the vibe. Florida heat in summer.....! Also the beaches at St. George Island State Park at the end of the road are incredible. One of the reasons I love your videos is that you never sugarcoat real travelers problems. Never enough time and money!!

Robert, you are a brave soul to take on Florida heat and humidity in the summer. Appreciate seeing the coast and the honest portrayal. Lots of people like touristy towns, but for those who don't it's helpful to hear your viewpoint. Like you, I enjoy the pace and feel of the old, slow lifestyle.

That “seaweed” is actually June grass. It’s an algae that is non harmful. It is essential for the ecosystem that feeds wildlife and re nourishes the beach. It can start in mid June depending on what the water temperature is and currents. (I am going to destin on the 1st of June. Hopefully the June grass is not bad) what day of June did you go?

Thanks for showing more of Florida! Pretty much at the top of my bucket list of places to visit after the border opens again. Hope you are staying safe as it looks like many people are not social distancing properly there! I noticed there is a Seaside in Florida. I don’t know if you had a chance to check out Seaside, OR when you were coming up the Oregon Coast, it’s 5 miles north of Cannon Beach. It’s a historical place as well as Lewis and Clark ended their expedition at Seaside, OR. I think I like the Seaside in Oregon better from what I have seen! Looking forward to your future videos.
