Hey man do you guys run ambient soundscapes/music in the background? Because my group runs stuff like this all the time and it really adds a lot. Allows me to also time things for music cues if I know they are coming, like a climactic speech or some terrifying realisation or the-like. Kindest regards. Just discovered you lot. @@28mmRPG Cool man I haven't really recorded anything to be fair. Also it gets pretty dark, like our last plot point was (this is set in Warhammer 40K and run on just entirely homebrew rules we made up) and our planet is facing some large scale Tyranid invasion and some pretty hard decisions had to be made. Ended with the dudes essentially setting up to genocide their own population to starve the swarm of biomass, had some proper back and forths. But it is all also done on what your lexicon defines as 4D, and we use (I usually have one player be the DJ) ambient tracks looping with maybe some musical tracks. And then I run it on a set of google sheets for the characters/gear/places and so forth. And then the we use GTP-4 for some flavouring or some scene narration (which I guide because it is pretty lame lately) and then also use DALL-E for image generation (on the fly). I see you use Midjourney for generation, have you ever tried Dall-E off of the GPT-4 license? Because in some ways it is better and in others it is way worse (all stormtroopers are star wars, all soldiers in 40K are space marines) whereas MJ can give you some better and more creative stuff (though 'logical' things like guns and such are better done with DALL-E as it is more structured and strict.)
