Just a few small corrections: what you said is City Hall is actually the National Parliament building, and what you said is the Parliament building is actually The National Museum. Gardosh Tower is only about 130 years old, and the much older Zemun fortress lies beneath it. Bombed buildings are not sad. They are a reminder of what was done to this city. Btw, it is the only capital (perhaps the only town) in Europe which was completely leveled to the ground 44 times in it's history. But we never gave up on living here, and never will.

My 2 cents on it: yes, those ruins should remain there, for all the world to see. You may not feel sad many people may not either. It definitely it is a reminder of how the times were horrible. I agree with you but I still feel sad about what my family went through.
