Travelling Australia: Free Camp in Northcliffe - Windy Harbour Living up to its Name!

Wind warning for this one! We’re on our way back north and find ourselves a free camp in the small town of Northcliffe! Just a short drive from Northcliffe is the small fishing community of Windy Harbour, and boy does it live up to its name! From everything we’ve seen Windy Harbour is a beautiful little community but we just didn’t get the right weather!

Great vlog really enjoyed , love natures window and the tour of the museum was awesome , the free camp hours are a little weird 😂 so funny trying to remember what town you are in or travelling towards , you need some palm cards 🤣🤣 thanks for sharing loved it 👍

Awesome video guys. Loved the drone footage of the car and caravan heading to Augusta. You had me confused about the 4pm to 9am stuff but I think you were confused as it was supposed to be overnight parking 4pm to 9am, not that you were only allowed in your van from 4pm. Hi guys, enjoying your videos always. Can you please tell me about the 12v electric blankets you use as we are looking at buying them ourselves.

Unfortunately there not 12v blankets, we have an inverter hardwired into our caravan with a big lithium battery and were just using “Target” branded electric blankets. It use’s around 6a/h for both sides, but is a big initial cost for inverter/battery

Also we couldn’t really find one that could perform as good as a 240v one and as cheap!

Drifter have 12 v electric blankets About $50-60 from memory

Does the wind ever stop blowing over there in W.A (Windy Always). So far I can’t see the attraction, get blown away and have to pay for everything you visit/stay at.🤔
